A Legacy of Faith and Transformation
In 1987, Pastor Sherill Piscopo and her late husband - Dr. Jerry Piscopo, started Evangel Christian Churches in their own home, gathering a small group to study the Bible. What began as a handful of people seeking God's healing and freedom grew into a sanctuary for spiritual warfare, inner healing, and deliverance.
By 1997, ECC’s community had grown rapidly, moving into a vibrant 40,000 square foot facility in Roseville, MI. Today, Lead Pastors Dr. Michael and Genna Hines shepherd a diverse congregation marked by authentic connection across generations and a passion for transforming lives through Christ's love.
Reaching Out to Heal and Restore
United by the Gospel message, ECC seeks to restore hope and wholeness to broken lives. We build meaningful community where individuals discover their God-given purpose and equip people to live it out.
Mirroring Jesus' compassion, we help build our community within and beyond our walls. Pastors and members alike extend hands of service to those in need–impacting our neighborhood and building a global support network connecting over 700 churches and ministries.

A lot has changed over 30 years, but our mission remains the same: helping people from all walks of life get connected to Jesus. What started in a home caught fire in people's hearts to reach not just our city but over 700 churches and ministries worldwide. Drs. Jerry and Sherill's leadership has set a foundation for a global network that supports spiritual guidance and nonprofit endeavors across continents.
